WordJack Marketing Manager Bev CookIt is time to introduce another addition to our growing team of professionals who make all we do at WordJack possible. Bev Cook joined us in April 2018, and we are taking this opportunity to introduce her to everyone.

What made you interested in web marketing?

I’ve been involved in web marketing for over 10 years, so I’ve had the chance to see it evolve and grow in strategic importance, especially for small businesses. I love the fact that web marketing melds creativity with analytics to produce targeted and measurable results.

What is your professional experience and background?

I’ve been involved in a variety of industries, from manufacturing to hospitality, legal services to print and marketing firms. I’ve held positions with international corporations as well as small businesses.

What do you like most about what you do?

I love working with small business owners.  They put their heart and soul into their businesses, and it’s incredibly rewarding to lend a hand in their success.

What do you like most about WordJack?

WordJack provides solutions tailored for small business. I’ve worked with and for marketing firms in the past, and small businesses can often be overlooked or offered a cookie cutter solution.  WordJack’s personalized service ensures that the client is receiving the right products and services at the right time. Small businesses are quick and agile, and so, in turn, is WordJack Media.

What is the best advice you can give small businesses for improving their online presence?

Know your goals.  Know who you want to reach and what kind of response you’d like to receive. For example, brand-building activities can be very different from lead generation tactics, so if you can bring to the table an idea of your end result, we can design a program to help get you there.

What is your strong suit when it comes to assisting your clients?

Flexibility. It is crucial for a WordJack Marketing Manager to be flexible. In small business, things can change on a dime, and it’s important to be agile and adaptable, adjusting the strategy to conform with changing business needs.

What are some of your interests/hobbies outside of work?

I enjoy playing guitar and have been known to crash an open mic.  I love summer road tripping, camping, and traveling in general.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with your WordJack team and clients?

With any job, you want to feel like you’re making a difference.  Working at WordJack Media, I produce measurable results for small businesses on a daily basis, and I find this the most gratifying aspect of my job.

Welcome to the WordJack team, Bev! We’re happy you have joined us, and we are quite sure your clients are, too!
