I’ve been a florist for 25 years, and it’s a tough business. There is a lot of competition from floral delivery aggregator sites, so it’s actually pretty hard to succeed. Also, flowers are a perishable product, so there is pressure to move inventory quickly or be faced with throwing it out. I wanted to take a chance with a professional website to see if it would help elevate my passion for my life’s work to a sustainable business.
Before I signed up with WordJack, I was losing business to competitors who were not local (but advertising as local), and they would send me the orders to fulfill and deliver. I figured that there had to be a better way to be found by my local customers, and after moving my physical storefront, it was more important than ever to be found online in local searches.
I needed a website that would help me be found on Google, but also be a good representation of what I have to offer season to season. I’m learning new things all the time about how those two things work together with the advice from the WordJack team.
Since signing up with WordJack a little over a year ago, my business has doubled month over month. I did 70% more business this Valentine’s Day over last Valentine’s Day (just prior to starting with WordJack). I know that upgrading to a website that is optimized for local search has had a direct impact on my bottom line. I would definitely recommend WordJack to other small businesses that want to be found by their local customers.
Sincerely,
