You re-designed your website a few years back, and now you’re not so sure you love it anymore. If you aren’t sure whether you should move forward with the website design process, here are some signs it’s definitely time:
- Your leads are lacking—When it comes down to it, getting leads is one of the most important things for your website. If your website isn’t doing its job and converting leads into real business, it’s probably time to evaluate your need for a new website design.
- Your website doesn’t look good on mobile—When you look up your site on a mobile device, does it automatically adapt to look good on a smaller screen? If it doesn’t, you might need to invest in a mobile site, since mobile searching is a trend that won’t go away any time soon.
- You make excuses for your site—If you find yourself making excuses for your business’ site or apologizing for the way it looks, this isn’t a good sign. Keep in mind that your website is a reflection of your business, and if you don’t like the way it looks, your customers probably won’t either.
- It’s hard to find things on your website—When people visit your website, they should easily be able to find exactly what they’re looking for, or else they’ll go somewhere else. You need to get the website design process moving if your site’s current layout isn’t intuitive or if it makes key information difficult to find.
