Chelsea Cortopassi joined the WordJack team as a new Marketing Manager in April 2018! We got the chance to catch up with her for a minute and get to know her better. Here’s a little bit more about Chelsea and what she brings to WordJack:
What does your experience with digital marketing look like?
I have an educational background in marketing and have held jobs in advertising, one of which was with one of Canada’s largest electronic companies, where I was a member of the e-commerce team. In this specific position, I was responsible for getting brands recognized through content, images, promotions, and optimization in local searches.
What made you decide to join the WordJack team?
It was a local company that cared about helping small businesses.
What’s your favorite thing about working for WordJack so far?
The people! My colleagues are all very welcoming and inclusive, as well as very good at what they do. The clients also have a mutual respect for the work we put in and the results we’re able to get them.
In your opinion, what’s the most important part of any online marketing campaign?
A website – it’s the center of a great online campaign! A great website will increase your conversion rates, and with SEO-rich content, you’ll get impressive organic search results.
What can your clients expect from you as their Marketing Manager?
I’m a great multi-tasker, task-oriented, and I enjoy being creative and employing new ways to get brands noticed.
Outside of work, what do you like to do for fun? What are some of your hobbies and interests?
As a mom of two small kids, my activities outside of work usually include getting them to their sports, like soccer, ball hockey, and dance. I’m also a big sports fan and have played baseball most of my life. When I’m not actively hiking with the kids and dog, I love to cook, bake, and spend my downtime with a puzzle.
Is there anything else you’d like the WordJack team or your clients to know about you?
I’m very invested in what I do – I love it and I love being part of the WordJack team. It’s my personal mission to make sure I get to know my clients and understand what they’re really looking for.
Welcome, Chelsea! We’re happy you’re part of the WordJack team!
