One of my favorite websites for help with online marketing is the Ahrefs Site Explorer. It’s a useful tool for researching the effects of your linkbuilding efforts, which normally isn’t the easiest thing to do!
Ahrefs allows you to view your links gained/lost, link sources & their values, link anchors, as well as many other useful linkbuilding-related data in a simplistic and complete way. It gives a good visual indication of whether you are headed in the right direction (gaining links instead of losing links) and allows you to view data in a way that can help you optimize & clean up your links for better results or discover link sources that you may be able to expand upon. For example, if you notice a specific blog that has linked to you a few times, you might be able to contact that blog and see if they are willing to post something weekly for you if you provide it.
Ahrefs also shows the social actions for each of your pages (G+, Tweets, Facebook likes & shares, etc.), which can be handy for spotting popular social content within your website, especially if you have lots of pages.
You can perform up to 3 actions per day with a free account at https://ahrefs.com/. For more than 3 actions per day, you will have to upgrade to a paid account. Try it out and let me know what you think!
